COLLAGE DESIGNS – CUSTOM EXTERIOR PAINTED SIGN

📍 Location: 1745 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON
🖌 Service: Hand-Painted Exterior Sign
🎨 Techniques Used: Vinyl Stencil, Hand-Painted Lettering, Ladder Stabilization

Project Overview

Collage Designs, a well-established interior design and renovations firm, wanted to increase brand visibility and make their storefront more noticeable from the street. Their goal was to create a bold and professional exterior sign that would clearly communicate their services to passersby while maintaining the sleek and modern aesthetic of their brand.

Design & Execution

  • The client provided their own custom design, ensuring that the branding remained consistent with their existing identity.
  • We used a vinyl stencil to accurately transfer the lettering onto the wall, ensuring sharp, clean edges.
  • The lettering was hand-painted using a brush, allowing for durability and a high-quality finish that will withstand the elements over time.

Surface Preparation & Painting Process

  • The brick exterior was prepped and primed, ensuring proper adhesion of the paint and longevity of the sign.
  • A vinyl stencil method was used, which allowed for a precise and efficient application of the design.
  • The paint used was high-quality exterior-grade paint, selected for its durability and ability to stand up to Toronto’s weather conditions.

Accessibility & Safety Measures

  • Due to the height of the building, extension ladders with stabilizers were used for a secure and steady application process.
  • This method allowed us to work efficiently and safely, ensuring accuracy while reducing overall completion time.

Final Outcome & Client Satisfaction

✔️ The project was completed within the agreed-upon time frame.
✔️ The client was thrilled with the final result, appreciating both the precision of the lettering and the boost in street-level visibility.
✔️ The signage now stands out boldly against the dark brick exterior, making the business easier to identify for new customers.
