This project was for Creemore Coach & Motor Works, a specialized automotive garage located in the scenic town of Creemore. The goal was to enhance the building’s exterior with a bold, vintage-style logo alongside two graphic elements—a classic car silhouette and a motorcycle illustration—reinforcing the garage’s passion for both automobiles and motorcycles.

Project Details:

• Design & Concept:
  • The lettering was painted in a bold, classic automotive style to match the garage’s branding.
  • The graphics—a vintage car and a motorcycle—were placed on either side of the entrance to emphasize the full range of services offered.
• Painting Process:
  • The artwork was applied directly over the existing paint, which added a challenge as any mistakes would be difficult to correct without matching the background color precisely.
  • A steady hand and patience were key to achieving clean, sharp lettering.
• Challenges & Logistics:
  • The location was a two-hour drive from Toronto, making efficiency crucial.
  • The team aimed to complete the project in a single day to keep it cost-effective for the client.
  • Multiple extension ladders were used to reach the higher areas, ensuring proper alignment of the text and graphics.

  • The final result gave the garage a polished, professional appearance while maintaining a vintage aesthetic.
  • The signage stands out against the dark background, making it easily visible from the road and adding character to the space.
