USCO.CA OFFICE MURAL PROJECT

 

This project was commissioned by Usco.ca, a creative collective specializing in various advertisements and events. The goal was to enhance the exterior of their Queensway office in Etobicoke by incorporating their logo, website, and a bold phrase into the building’s design. The result was a clean, professional look that reflects the creative nature of their business and increases street-level visibility.

Inspiration & Concept Development

The owners of Usco.ca wanted their office exterior to stand out and attract attention from passersby. The primary goal was to create a professional yet creative facade that would draw more interest to their business. Since they are a creative collective, their own team came up with the design—a bold, simple layout that uniquely integrates their branding with the structure of the building. The logo placement was thoughtfully aligned with existing architectural elements like the stairwell and windows, ensuring a cohesive and eye-catching final result.

Challenges & Solutions

Aligning the large logo stencil with the existing stairwell and window required precise measurements and careful planning. Once the positioning was finalized, we cut the stencil to fit perfectly around these features. Another challenge was ensuring consistent paint coverage across the textured exterior surface of the house.

To achieve the desired finish, we used a high-quality primer and exterior semi-gloss paint, which provided durability and a clean, polished look. The use of durable materials was essential for maintaining the mural’s appearance despite weather exposure.
