THAI ROOM GRAND MURAL

Thai Room Grand, a lively and inviting restaurant, wanted to make a statement with the side of their building by incorporating a lush, tropical foliage mural. Located in a busy part of the city, the goal was to create a bold and organic visual that would catch the attention of pedestrians and potential customers, making the restaurant stand out from the surrounding urban landscape.

The inspiration for the mural came from a popular wallpaper design, but rather than simply replicating it, we adapted and redesigned it to suit the unique dimensions and architectural features of the building. The challenge was to create a flowing, natural look that would feel immersive, as though the greenery were growing naturally across the wall.

We began the project by projecting the design onto the wall at night, ensuring accuracy in placement and proportion. During the day, our team used brush techniques to carefully blend the different shades of green, creating a vibrant and dynamic layering of leaves. The high sections required the use of scaffolding, allowing us to paint with precision while working at elevated heights. The blending process was meticulous, with hand-rendered details enhancing depth and realism throughout the mural.

The final result is a stunning, lifelike composition that brings an organic element to the restaurant’s exterior. It transforms an otherwise plain side wall into a breathtaking, nature-infused focal point, seamlessly integrating with the atmosphere of Thai Room Grand. The mural not only enhances the visual identity of the restaurant but also provides a refreshing contrast to the surrounding urban environment, making it a true landmark for the area.
