GUILD ELECTRIC OFFICE AND WAREHOUSE MURAL

 

This project was commissioned by Guild Electric, a well-established company with both an office and a warehouse facility. We were contacted by their interior designer, who was looking to move away from traditional contemporary paintings and instead incorporate large, hand-painted graphics and key phrases into the entrances of the office and warehouse areas. It was an honor to follow in the footsteps of the previous art installation, and the new design aimed to create a bold and modern visual identity for the space.

Inspiration & Concept Development

The interior designer’s vision was to create a dynamic and engaging environment through the use of large-scale graphics and key phrases that reflect the company’s core values. The design prominently featured curved lines and bold typography in a striking yellow and white color scheme, guiding the eye naturally through the space. The meticulous layout ensured that each element aligned perfectly with architectural features such as doorways and hallways, enhancing the overall flow and visual impact.

Challenges & Solutions

This was one of the most complex stencil projects we have ever undertaken. The intricate design required precise measurements and layout to ensure that the graphics flowed seamlessly across multiple walls and around corners. The leading composition had to be carefully planned in relation to the surrounding space to achieve the intended visual effect.

Creating and applying the stencils demanded a great deal of patience and precision. It took an entire week to produce all the stencils off-site. On-site, the installation required weeks of work, with each section meticulously taped, painted, and touched up to ensure clean, sharp lines.

Despite the complexity, the project was completed successfully, and the results were well-received by the client. The attention to detail paid off, resulting in a polished and professional look that elevates the entire space.

We were equally proud of the outcome, and it was a pleasure to work with a talented design team that had such a clear vision.

Timeframe & Scale

This large-scale project took a month to complete on-site, with an additional week dedicated to creating the stencils. The mural spans multiple walls and wraps around key architectural features, making it one of our most ambitious and rewarding projects to date.
