LONE STAR TEXAS GRILL – TEXAS LONE STAR STATE INTERIOR MURAL

Inside the restaurant, we painted a Texas Lone Star State mural on an exposed brick wall. This feature piece reinforces the brand’s Texan roots and adds character to the dining space.

Techniques & Process

• Multi-Layered Stencil Approach:
  • We applied the first layer of the design, ensuring crisp lines and proper alignment.
  • The second layer was then carefully placed on top, adding depth and dimension to the mural.
• Ghost Sign Effect:
  • The mural was painted with a distressed, aged look to blend naturally with the exposed brick texture.
  • Specific areas were intentionally faded to give the impression of an old, hand-painted sign that has withstood the test of time.
• Attention to Detail:
  • The Texas flag colors and rustic typography were carefully replicated to maintain historical authenticity.
  • Brush techniques and dry-brushing were used to create a worn, sun-faded appearance.

The result is a visually striking mural that perfectly complements the restaurant’s ambiance. It enhances the dining experience, immersing guests in a warm, Southern-inspired atmosphere.
