MISHREE RESTAURANT EXTERIOR MURAL

 

This project was for Mishree, a restaurant located in Mississauga. We were contracted by a traditional sign and printing company that needed hand-painted signage for a brick surface—a job that required precision and a steady hand to achieve a clean, professional look. The goal was to prominently display the Mishree logo on the side of the building, ensuring it would stand out to passersby and enhance the restaurant’s curb appeal.

Inspiration & Concept Development

The client wanted a minimalist and elegant design that reflected the restaurant’s brand identity. The logo, with its clean lines and simple typography, was well-suited for a hand-painted approach, especially on the textured brick surface. The contrast of the black logo against the white painted brick created a bold and sophisticated aesthetic.

Challenges & Solutions

One of the main challenges was the thin lines of the logo, which required careful attention during painting to maintain consistency and avoid any bleeding or smudging. Using a stencil, we meticulously painted each section, ensuring crisp edges and uniform thickness.

Additionally, the height of the logo, which reached about ten feet, necessitated the use of a ladder and step stool for proper access. Despite these challenges, we were able to complete the project efficiently. Minor touch-ups were needed afterward to perfect the final look, resulting in a flawless finish.
