LEMON TREE MURAL – A WHIMSICAL TOUCH FOR A NURSERY

This hand-painted lemon tree mural was designed for a newborn’s nursery, bringing a warm and serene atmosphere to the space. The client had a vision of a soft, nature-inspired theme, and we worked closely with her to refine the concept, ensuring it would be a calming and beautiful addition to the room. She was particularly delighted that we were able to schedule and complete the mural before the baby arrived, making it a special and personal touch to welcome her child.

Design and Painting Process

To achieve a delicate, organic look, we first sketched the entire composition directly onto the wall using a freehand technique. This allowed us to adjust the flow of the branches naturally, ensuring that the mural fit the unique angles of the space. The color palette was kept soft and elegant, with rich, earthy browns for the tree trunk and branches, deep greens for the leaves, and vibrant yellows for the lemons, creating a striking yet soothing contrast against the pale background.

A combination of paintbrush and spray paint techniques was used to bring the mural to life. The branches and leaves were hand-painted with controlled brushstrokes to create depth and movement, while the lemons were gently blended using soft shading techniques to give them a realistic yet slightly whimsical appearance. The rocks at the base of the tree were also carefully shaded to add grounding elements to the scene, enhancing the overall composition.
